Basil formerly ran Studio One National Print Workshop in Canberra from 1987-1996 and Northern Editions in Darwin from 1996-2002. A large majority of BHE's current work is with Indigenous artists in the NT, Western Australia and South Australia, but BHE also co-publishes and/or prints for several major Australian artists. In 2004, BHE is working on new prints with Garry Shead, Jenny Sages, Yvonne Boag, Lorna Fencer, Guy Warren, Judy Watson and William Robinson. In addition, BHE is collaborating with over 70 artists this year from Wingellina, Ernabella, Fregon, Amata, Kunawarritji, Yirrkala, Oenpelli and Hall's Creek.
