Gallery Details:
The Beatty Gallery was established in 1993 to represent Australian-based contemporary artists, although overseas practitioners, in particular, from Germany and Japan have exhibited. The gallery shows painting, works on paper, sculpture, assemblage, photography & installation. The gallery is a four storey terrace located in Darlinghurst/East Sydney three minutes from Oxford St, Hyde Park, Stanley Streets Little Italy and a brisk 15 minute walk to Sydney CBD. It is easily accessible to all public transport. Disabled please note there are four reasonably easy steps into the main gallery and help is nearby if required. Artists represented include Malcolm Benham, Claire Beauseine from Broome, Frank Boyle, Craig Cameron from Candelo on the NSW South Coast, Nicola Dickson currently based in Canberra ACT, Sean Dwyer, Stephen Hall, Brandt Lewis, Jemima McDonald, Paul Mallam, Claire Reemst.
