Mr. Hatzis graduated Bachelor of Arts (Vis) in 1986 from City Art Institute (now the College of Fine Arts, University of NSW.) Gallery Savah represents established and emerging artists and has developed a solid fine art dealing reputation in the secondary market for artworks by prominent Australian and Aboriginal artists. The gallery stockroom includes one of Australia's most significant collections of Aboriginal paintings from the Utopia Region, NT. The gallery represents a broad section of contemporary painting, promoting many important solo exhibitions for Australian and Aboriginal artists including Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Gloria Petyarre, David Rankin, Barbara Weir, Malcolm Jagamarra, Maree Azzopardi, Al Skaw, Philip Stallard, Ivan Marchuk, Max Miller, Nico Vrielink, Walangari Kantawarra and others. It also showcases group exhibitions of paintings and works on paper by John Olsen, Arthur Boyd, Fred Cress, Charles Blackman, John Perceval, Brett Whiteley, John Firth-Smith, and others. Gallery Savah also continues to support solo and group exhibitions by young and emerging artists including Kerrie Leishman, Anne Saunders, George Burchett, Robert Windsor, Terresia Pwerle, Greg James, Jeanette Lotz and others. The gallery is well known to important art collectors, artists and art institutions world wide and has placed artworks in private, corporate and public collections. We offer free and discreet current market appraisals and very competitive resale commissions with a high sales success rate.
