John and his son Simon Fisher now run the business. Fishers exhibit the work of emerging, established and historical artists through two New Zealand galleries, one in Christchruch and the other in Auckland. Each gallery has regular exhibiitions of well known & emerging NZ/International artists. The gallery stock room also houses paintings by some of the finest names in New Zealand art, some of those include: Goldie, McCahon, Hodgkins, Hotere, Binney, Siddell, Gully, Smither, Woollaston, Blomfield, Walters and more.
