Born in Queensland in 1951 expressionist painter Davida Allen studied under Betty Churcher at Stuarthold Convent, Brisbane and at the Central Technical College, Brisbane. She has exhibited widely throughout Australia.

The earliest auction listing we have for Davida Allen is in 1986 and in total 132 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 88 (67%) were sold.
