The Australian Art Sales Digest Internet Version lists over 8,800 artists who have lived and/or worked in Australian or New Zealand. To locate the artist whose works you want to view, you can enter the beginning letters of artist's last name, and optionally the beginning letters of the artist's first name.
Please note that artists are listed under their given first names, not their commonly used first name. For example, Pro Hart is listed as Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart. To facilitate your search, we suggest you enter only the first four or five letters of the artist's last name, and leave the 'Artist first name' box blank.
Whilst the basic search above gives you access to all individual artists who have lived or worked in Australia or New Zealand, there are many works offered where the artist has lived or worked in a country other than Australia or New Zealand, the country of the artist is unknown, that are joint or collaborative works (two or more artists) or Aboriginal artifacts, where in many cases the name of the creator is unknown.
