About Cathleen Edkins
Born in South Australia in 1922, Cathleen Edkins studied under Septimus Power and at the National Gallery School, Melbourne. Principally a painter of horses, she received numerous commissions from the horse racing community. Cathleen Edkins exhibited in Melbourne and Adelaide from the early 1950s and with the Equestrian Society in London in 1989.
