Born in Melbourne in 1951, Peter Tyndall studied architecture in Melbourne. He co-founded the Fosterville Institute of Applied and Progressive Cultural Experience in 1972 and was artist-in-residence at Monash University in 1975. A painter and sculptor he has exhibited extensively since 1972 in Australia and Europe.
