Born in Gundagai, New South Wales in 1906, Muriel Luders began painting in 1962. She is a self taught primitive artist and has been called Australia's "Grandma Moses". She has exhibited in New South Wales and the ACT and been awarded a number of prizes at provincial art shows. She died in NSW in 1984.
