About John Shand Anderson
Two oil paintings by John Anderson were exhibited at the 1866 Melbourne Intercolonial Exhibition. He is believed to be the same John Anderson of New Zealand who was visiting Victoria around this period, and who became a farmer after a brief period as a photographer in Auckland.
