About Len Annois
Born in Victoria in 1906, Annois studied at the Melbourne National Gallery School. Best known for his watercolours and murals, he received over a dozen major art awards.
The total number of works by Len Annois offered for sale by auction since 1969 is 293, of which 211 (72%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $7,700 for Nude with Piano sold by Sotheby's in July 1988. This year one work has been offered for sale. Works by Len Annois are held by the National Gallery of Victoria, Geelong Gallery and a further six major public national galleries (see list below).
