Sarah Stone (later Smith) was an English painter and natural history illustrator active in England from about 1777 to 1820. She never visited Australia, but was commissioned by naturalists such as Sir Joseph Banks to make watercolour drawings of the natural history specimens and artefacts found on expeditions around the world.
