Born in Hungary in 1910 George Molnar was awarded a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Budapest in 1932. He arrived in Australia in 1939. A teacher, architect and cartoonist he became well known as a cartoonist for the Sydney Telegraph and later the Sydney Morning Herald. He held several exhibitions in Sydney in the 1980s and his work illustrated many books. He lectured in architecture at the University of Sydney in the 1960s.
