About Yong-Joo Marbot
Born in the Republic of Korea in 1959 Yong-Joo Marbot completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Oriental Brush Painting) Duck Sung Women’s University and in 2002 completed a Master of Art (Painting & Drawing) College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales. He has held solo exhibitions in Sydney since 2004 and was a finalist in Mosman Art Prize in 1987 and the Waverly Art Prize Exhibition, Bondi Beach in 2003. tSince 1992 he has lived and worked in Sydney.
