Born in Kapunda, South Australia in 1961 Michael Kempson studied at the City Art Institute and the College of Adult Education. A teacher, painter and printmaker he has exhibited mainly in Sydney in solo and in group exhibitions mainly of prints surveys in Australia and the USA. He has held a number of teaching and lecturing positions at tertiary level from 1986 to 2004.
