About Alfred Wishart Walter
Born in 1887, Alfred Walter studied under Will Ashton. A traditional landscape artist, he exhibited with the Royal Art Society from 1924 to 1935 and later with the Australian Art Society. He also exhibited with commercial galleries in Sydney in the 1930s.
