About Pinta Pinta Tjapanangka
Australian Aboriginal artist Pinta Pinta Tjapanangka was born in the late 1930s. He started painting in the early 1970s, joining the group of artists at Papunya. He moved to Kintore in 1981 at the start of the re-settlement of Pintupi lands. In his paintings, Pinta Pinta mainly depicts Tingari stories.
