About Joe Szabo
Born in Budapest in 1932, Joseph Szabo arrived in Australia in 1950. He studied at the National Art School in Sydney and worked as a commercial potter. A painter, teacher and ceramicist, he exhibited his paintings from 1962. He also taught with Jon Molvig in Brisbane and at the Mary White School and Bakery School in Sydney.
