About Elisabeth Kruger
Born in Noumea, New Caledonia in 1955, Elisabeth Kruger studied at the Canberra School of Art. At the Australian national University. A painter and print maker, she first exhibited in the ACT in 1978 and since then has held many solo and group exhibitions. She has won numerous awards including the 1990 Moet & Chandon fellowship residency in Besozzo, Italy and the Craftsman in Residence at Sturt Workshops, Mittagong awarded by the Crafts Council of Australia. She lives and works in Canberra.
