Ross Watson was born in Brisbane in 1962. He studied at Seven Hills College of Art in Brisbane in 1978 and in the UK and Europe in 1981, 1985 and 1987. A super realist figure artist, he first exhibited in Melbourne in 1982 and since then he has exhibited regularly in both Melbourne and Sydney, and overseas in Canada, Germany, and the USA. He now lives and works from his own gallery in Melbourne.
