James Miller Marshall (sometimes mistakenly listed as John Miller Marshall) was an English painter who exhibited at the Royal Academy, London before arriving in Victoria c1892. He lived in Melbourne and Creswick, Victoria in the late where he reputedly gave Lionel Lindsay his first lesson in watercolours. He returned permanently to England c1893.
