Born in New South Wales in 1946, Bridgid McLean studied at the Sydney Technical College and then travelled and worked in USA, Europe, Japan, and India. A painter and sculptor, she held her first solo show in Sydney in 1973, and since then has mainly exhibited in Sydney, and occasionally in Perth and Melbourne.
