Born in Victoria in 1950, Stephen Wickham studied extensively in Melbourne, his subjects including photography, painting and printmaking. He also graduated as a teacher, and has taught at tertiary institutions in Victoria since 1986. His exhibitions have varied from photographs portraying the wilderness in 1984 to paintings of geometric shapes in 1991. Wickham's work is represented in collections such as the State Library of Victoria.
