Born in Serbia in 1948 Dragan Ilic arrived in Australia in 1971. He was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Australian National University School of Art, Canberra, in 1974-75. He exhibited in melbourne Sydney and Canberra in the mid 1970s. A painter, sculptor and performance artist he performed at Adelaide Fesitval prior to him moving to the USA in 2000 and becoming a citizen.
