Born about 1943, Australian Aboriginal artist Ronnie Tjampitjinpa is one of the major painters of the Papunya school of artists. Ronnie Tjampitjinpa was the winner of the 1988 Alice Springs Art Prize and has been a finalist in numerous prestigous art prizes. He is regarded as one of Aboriginal art's most collectable artists. He has exhibited widely and is represented in over 30 major collections worldwide.
