About Marcia Rea
Marcia Rea was born in Brisbane, and showed an interest in art from a young age. After working as an architectural model maker and interior designer, she studied portraiture with Australian artist Joshua Smith, and then travelled Australia extensively painting plein air in Bali, Bordeaux, France , Cinque Terra, Venice, Italy and England. She has a studio in the Hawkesbury Region, where she teaches, and conducts tutorials and demonstrations.
