About Allan Gamble
Born in Fremantle, Western Australia in 1907, Allan Gamble was an architect and waterolour painter. He was well known for the series of books and prints he produced of Sydney University where he was a lecturer in architecture from 1945 to 1951, after which he became Director of the Gallery of Fine Arts at the university.
