Born in Malaya in 1929, Nathan Paramanathan studied in Melbourne. He is a Fellow of the RMIT(Fine Arts) has a Masaters Degree in Psycho-Social Studies from Melbourne University and was Head, Art Education Dept. at the Phillip Institute of Technology from 1975 to 1987. He paints expressionistic landscapes, using soft, monochromatic colours.
