Born in Melbourne in 1968 Kim Westcott studied at Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 1989. A print maker she worked at the Australian Print Workshop and in New York with American Master Printmaker, Garner Tullis. She returned to Melbourne in 1995 travelling to Utopia in Central Australia, where she worked alongside and assisted Emily Kame Kngwarreye. Back in Melbourne she set up her own workshop in Sorrento in 1997. Kim Westcott has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows since 1992.
