Born in Arnhem Land in about 1935 Australian Aboriginal artist Phillip Gudthaykudthay is best known as a bark painter, carver and printmaker. He has exhibited very widely and is represented in most state and many regional galleries.

The total number of works by Phillip Gudthaykudthay offered for sale by auction since 1996 is 62, of which 37 (60%) were sold.
