About John Treanor
Painter, sculptor and printmaker John Treanor was born in Sydney, Australia in 1939. He graduated from the National Art School, East Sydney in 1968 and since then has worked and exhibited in Sydney and New Guinea, taught art in a number of instutions both in Australia and the USA, and has completed several large murals in Papua New Guinea and Arizona. He has exibited in over 30 solo and mixed art shows. He now paints fulltime in south east Arizona and teaches selected students.
