About Charles Forbes Mudie
A Victorian painter working in oils, Mudie is best known for his landscape and coastal paintings. Working c1900 to 1934, he exhibited at the Victorian Artists Society in 1901 and 1902, and is believed to have lived in Williamstown in the 1930s.
