Born in New South Wales in 1939, Rex Newell has been a major force in the Australian art market for many years. Rex has produced many outback pub books and also yearly calendars . He has also produced prints with the Western Australia Mint. Amongst collectors of his work has been the Duke of Edinburgh, Crown Prince Frederick of Norway, actor John Wayne, World Bank and private collectors in Australia and overseas.
