Born in 1926, George Duerden studied in Perth from 1968-69 at Claremont Technical College under Henry Froudist. A naive painter, he has held solo exhibitions in the Perth area since 1970 until 1981. Duerden's work is represented in the Art Gallery of Western Australia and institutional collections. In 1963 the Art Gallery of Western Australia showed the George Duerden Retrospective
