About Vida Steinert
A New Zealand artist, Vida Steinert was born in Hamilton, New Zealand in 1906. She studied at the Elam School of Fine Arts and during the 1940s she was an active member of the Rutland Group in Auckland.
The earliest auction listing we have for Vida Steinert is in 1991 and in total 66 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 49 (74%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $6,428 for Maori and Model T sold by Webb's in March 2004. This year one work has been offered for sale. Works by Vida Steinert are held by the Museum Of New Zealand and Auckland Art Gallery.
