Impressionist Perth artist Elizabeth Ford was born in Western Australia in 1941. She studied at Claremont Teachers College, Perth from 1959 to 1961 and in 1971 was awarded an Associateship in Art Teaching from the Western Australian Institute of Technology and then taught at the Western Australian College of Advanced Education. From 1987-88 she attended a Spring Term post graduate studio assignment at the Royal College of Art in London. During the 1970s she exhibited in Perth.
