Born in Narembeen, Western Australia in 1968, Robert Hirschmann was awarded a Certificate in Painting at Liverpool TAFE, and a Diploma of Fine Arts from the National Art School, Sydney. An abstract landscape painter he has held 21 solo shows since 1991 and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He has won both the National Art Award in South Australia and the Gruner Landscape Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
We have records of art auction sales by Robert Hirschmann from 2001 and in total 28 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 20 (71%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $7,363 for Late Harvest sold by Lawsons in May 2014.
