About Frank Mitchell
Frank Mitchell was born in Sydney in 1937 and studied at the National Art School in Sydney. He later taught art and has held over 50 successful exhibitions of his own works. His earlier works focused on the Australian landscape and he broadened his portfolio to include paintings of steam trains. Generally he uses oils, but also does some paintings in acrylic.
