Born in 1935, Australian Aboriginal artist Gawarrin Gumana is a leading Yirrkala bark painter. His work has been included in many exhibitions of aboriginal art and is represented in most state collections.

We have records of art auction sales by Gawirrin Gumana from 1996 and in total 24 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 15 (63%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $5,891 for Gangan sold by Deutscher and Hackett in July 2020.
