Born in Victoria in 1908, Dora McRae studied at the Prahan Technical College and at Heatherleys in London. A floral, portrait and landscape painter, she had numerous exhibitions in Melbourne. She has a Masterclass named in her honour at the Victorian College of the Arts, funded by the Lionel Gell Foundation.
