About Ben Webb
Ben Webb, a portrait and figure painter, held his first exhibition at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery in 1995 at the age of 19. He held the Goethe Institut residency in Berlin in 2001 and exhibited at the Asia Pacific Triennial in Brisbane and was a Visa Gold Finalist in 1996. He also exhibited in Sydney, Noumea, Argentine, Germany and Sweden. From 2001 until his death, Webb spent six months of each year in Berlin, where he exhibited his work.
