About Michael Jeffery
Born in Adelaide in 1965, Michael Jeffery studied for an Associate Diploma in Applied Science (Wildlife and Park Management), from the Salisbury College of Advanced Education, Adelaide in 1988-89 and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours), University of South Australia, Underdale Campus, Adelaide 2001-2004. Using mixed media and acrylic on canvas he produces abstract urban landscapes, acrylic paintings of birdlife and drawings of outback landscapes. He has exhibited in Adelaide and Perth since 2003 and was a finalist for the Art Gallery of New South Wales Wynn Prize in 2006.
