Born in Austria in 1935, Anton Holzner studied art before his arrival in Australia in 1955 where he taught art at secondary and tertiary level. A painter, printmaker and theatre designer, he has held solo shows since 1958 in Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney and in Vienna.
