About Rachel Miller
Born in Wellington in 1928, Rachel Miller studied at the Chelsea School of Art in London and studied engraving at William Hayter's Atelier 17 in Paris. A painter and printmaker, in 1957 she won The Waikato Society of Arts Art Award initiated by the Waikato Society of Arts. SSe exhibited in the Hays Art Competitions in 1960, at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts in 1974 and The Group in 1964.
