About Kenneth J. (Ken) Knight
Born in Sydney in 1956, Ken Knight is a landscape painter who studied for his Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education at Sydney University from 1975 to 1978. A secondary school teacher for 14 years, in 1993 he trevelled to London to study. He was Artist in Residence at the Arthur Boyd Bundanon Trust property Bundanon in 1995 and 1997. Since then he has made numerous overseas trips to study and work. His first solo show was in Sydney in 1979 and he has since exhibited at regional centres in New South Wales, on the Queensland Gold Coast and in Melbourne.
