Born in New South Wales in 1939, John Sharman is a traditional style landscape and seascape painter working in oil who studied with private tutors and has been working as a full time artist since 1980. He has held over 45 exhibitions in Sydney, Canberra and New South Wales provincial centres from 1983, and has been awarded many prizes at provincial art shows. He lives and works on the south coast of New South Wales.
