Bradd Westmoreland, born in 1975, is an Australian painter who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1995. Since his first solo exhibition in 1997, Westmoreland has regularly exhibited, refining his unique visual style. His paintings are characterized by imagined landscapes, vibrant subjects, and painterly backgrounds. He often employs bold colors to create form, light, and shadow in his works. With over 15 solo exhibitions and 16 group exhibitions under his belt, Westmoreland's work was also featured in the renowned 2015 exhibition "Melbourne Now." His paintings are held in public and private collections both in Australia and overseas, including major public galleries such as the National Gallery of Victoria and the British Museum in London.
