About Alison Orme
Alison Orme was born in the UK in 1946 and moved to Australia in the late 1970s. She lived in the Blue Mountains where she painted, predominantly in watercolour and mixed media and also pastel, pen and ink drawing and painting on silk. Fascinated by light and the way it affects all we see, she painted intuitively, using both traditional and contemporary methods. She also taught at the Springwood Community Arts Centre.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2019.
