Born in Sydney in 1917, Reg Preston is a ceramic artist who studied in Melbourne and in 1937 travelled to London, where he undertook further studies that included time at the Royal Academy. He returned to Australia in 1939 at the outbreak of World War II.

We have records of art auction sales by Reg Preston from 1991 and in total 50 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 42 (84%) were sold.
