About Laurence D. Kermond
Born in Castlemaine, Victoria in 1918, Laurence Kermond is a self-taught artist who began sketching while serving in the Air Force. Following a period spent in the advertising industry, he started to paint in 1955. In 1971 he operated an art gallery in Merimbula, New South Wales.
The total number of works by Laurence Kermond offered for sale by auction since 1976 is 93, of which 59 (63%) were sold. This year one work has been offered for sale.
